imp. USA Kidd’s Thunder Kiss of JSD

toya-profile

Toya has been X-Rayed in March 2015 and her hips were A/A (best possible results in Sweden). Her elbows were 0/0 (also the best you can get). At the same time we also checked her eyes, which were cleared. And today she’s, together with my great mother, in the south part of Sweden to have her mentality evaluated…

This means that I’ll have ASCA & SKK reg. puppies later this summer out of this neat young gal! 🙂

2015

Hi y’all.

I apologize for the lack of updates lately. Not that I need to, but I want to explain why my life has been standing still for the last 16.5 months. My family and I lost a loved one whom we miss dearly. It’s been really hard to focus on anything else than to breathe since the terrible accident. Ailo was killed in an avalanche while working reindeer on the mountains… This tragedy has been hard on the entire family of course, and I’ve not cared about breeding dogs since than…

But time pass and you realize that somehow, no matter how hard, life has to go on. I’ve come back to the point in life where I can find some energy to plan a litter.

With that said, here are some news:

We will breed imp. USA Kidd’s Thunder Kiss of JSD ”Toya” this spring! I expect her to be in heat within a month and when it’s time we’ll go to Germany and breed her to an outstanding red merle male for a litter this summer…

More information is to come when Toya has been mated.

2014

Time’s passed…

This winter has been very hard on me because of personal circumstances so there has been no time (or energy) to post anything on this website. I’ll try again to get it updated and let y’all know more about what we’ve done and what we’ll do!

To start, we still only have three dogs at home and are not planning on making any changes anytime soon. We absolutely love Chippa, Raili & Toya. They’re three very good dogs. Toya will make her true debut on reindeer this spring and after that I can evaluate her and decide wether or not to use her in my breeding program. Raili is a mix-bred dog (my fathers working dog) and will of course never be used for breeding.

We’re excited to let you know that we’ve finally made some arrangements and am planning a litter this year!

Rocki, my uncles Aussie imported from France, will be bred this year if her eyes are cleared. We will also do the Sweden Mental Test before breeding to make sure that this litter will be dual registered in ASCA & FCI. Rocki is a beautiful red merle female by Texas (bred by Norma Hart) and Chips (bred by Anneke de Jong). She has plenty of instinct and has a good personality. Her hips are A/A.

Male to this litter will be announced in a couple of months.

So, please keep checking this website ’cause I’ll try to update it more this year. I will announce every breeding we do as soon as the female is bred.

Update: Bitzi

bitzi-headHello everyone, here’s some update of Starstuff’s Lil Bit Qwick ”Bitzi”. She has been X-Rayed (hips and elbows) and the results came back great. Her hips are A/A (best possible results in Sweden) and her elbows are 0/0 (also the best possible results). Her eyes were cleared at the same time.

We have now started to look around for a sire to a potential litter this summer. I will keep a puppy and so will her current owner Angelica do. Stay tuned!

Welcome home!

Our puppies arrived to Sweden Monday morning (April 1st) and it was the craziest experience ever. Not to bother telling details about it, I’ve decided to never ship a puppy/dog alone again. It’s actually cheaper (and easier!) to fly overseas and pick them up…

I was outside taking a couple of photos of our new arrivals today;

toya-home

Toya: is the sweetest little puppy! She’s very outgoing and happy, very social and loving. I’m crazy about my new puppy and can see plenty of potential in her.

beibi-home

Beibi: is a very outgoing puppy. She loves people but is also a lot more independent. I have a great feeling about this little puppy and believe Ragne Kristine will be very happy with her addition.

I would like to give the greatest THANK YOU to Randy Kidd in Idaho, USA for raising these wonderful puppies together with his family. They’ve done a great job with them!

March

Hello everyone, how are you doing?

Time’s running by, I just looked at the calendar and realized that we’re entering the end of March already. There’s not many days left until our new addition ”Toya” will arrive from USA. I’m planning to drive down to Arlanda (Stockholm airport) on April 1st and she’ll arrive early morning the next day (2nd). Of course, she won’t be traveling alone. Her littermate sister ”Beibi” will accompany her and continue her travel up to the very north part of Norway. She’s going to live with Ragne Kristine Smuk (the sister of Muzi’s owner).

There’s so much more going on in my life so I apologize for not updating sooner…
I wish you a wonderful Easter!

Muzi

Three years ago I flew to Germany to get a beautiful little black puppy (breeder: Kay Pieper) to my friends in Norway, the Smuk family. Ragne and I had been in touch for a couple of years before they decided to buy an Australian Shepherd. I was very happy to be able to help them find a good Working Aussie. Muzi’s parents were both ASCA working trial champions, Solo & Sombra. The picture below is Muzi at the age of three years. She’s very cute, and I hear that she’s a good stockdog too! 😉 Picture is taken by Ragne Krisitne Smuk.

P.S: Ragne isn’t to owner of Muzi herself but she’s waiting on her first Working Aussie. Ragne will import a puppy from USA with me in March, we’re both very excited about our puppies… 🙂
